Founded in Brooklyn, New York, by Maya Ellison, Skintific started with a simple problem: Maya spent years struggling with clogged pores and stubborn breakouts, and got tired of digging her fingers into messy clay jars every night, hoping something would finally work.

After trying nearly every clay mask on the market, she realized the issue wasn't the clay itself — it was the format. Jars were messy, hard to target, and impossible to bring on the go. So in 2023, Maya set out to build something different: a clay stick that was precise, portable, and actually easy to use.

Working with cosmetic chemists, she combined volcanic clay and glycolic acid for deep pore care, and niacinamide and centella for calming acne-prone skin — two formulas designed to work together, not against each other.

Today, Skintific is used by thousands of people who, just like Maya, wanted real results without the mess. We're not a huge conglomerate — we're a small team obsessed with getting skincare right, one stick at a time.
